Gantry Dual Y-axes Selective Coating Machine(HTF-1000B)
Introduction
• Control System:
Equipped with an industrial computer and motion control card, operated via a 21-inch monitor with mouse and keyboard. Programming is simple and user-friendly. The software is independently developed for easy maintenance. When creating programs, operators can select different spray valves according to required coating width and adjust Z-axis height based on component height on the PCB. All programs can be stored and recalled for different PCB models. The system can automatically immerse the glue gun when no workpiece is present, preventing adhesive drying and clogging.
• Machine Frame:
The base frame is welded from reinforced 60×60 mm square tubes with stress-relieved treatment, delivering excellent rigidity, hardness, and minimal thermal deformation. The working platform is precision-milled with a gantry milling machine to ensure the motion system operates on a stable and accurate platform.The surfaces are finished with electrostatic powder coating for a refined appearance
• Working Section:
The X/Y/Z three-axis motion platform is constructed with linear guides, ball screws, and servo motors. All axes adopt a self-developed sealed linear module that prevents atomized coating mist from adhering to guides and screws, ensuring stable and high-precision motion control.
The Y-axis uses a gantry dual-drive system (dual Y-axis, dual servos + dual ball screws), effectively eliminating vibration in conventional single-Y-axis designs.
Each dispensing valve is independently controlled with high accuracy and stability. Two high-precision atomizing spray valves with adjustable spray width. Fine-tuning air pressure regulators deliver stable pressure and consistent adhesive output for clean and precise coating edges.
• Conveying System:
Driven by a stepper motor, with protective strips added to the guide rails to maintain power even if high-viscosity adhesive sticks to the chain. The self-developed aluminum conveyor structure is both aesthetic and practical. It uses chain-driven conveying with top-side protective strips to prevent coating from dripping onto the chain. Conveyor width is automatically adjusted via stepper-motor drive for high accuracy, with a adjustment range of 50–450 mm. The chain uses a 35B stainless-steel chain with extended pins and baffle plates.
• PCB Clamping System:
Upon PCB entry, sensors trigger automatic stop, clamping, and top-holding to keep the PCB firmly fixed, preventing shifting during coating and ensuring accurate positioning.
• Glue Supply System:
A mobile glue-supply cart consisting of a 10 L pressure tank and a 2 L stainless-steel cleaning tank. The cart has casters for easy movement. The pressure tank includes an air regulator, safety valve, vent valve, outlet, and inner chamber.
• Exhaust System:
A top-mounted high-power exhaust fan ensures strong, quiet, and durable extraction, effectively removing atomized coating mist and preventing dispersion in the workshop.
• Soaking System:
A custom-designed stainless-steel container allows convenient soaking of spray valves and easy replacement.
• Lighting & Inspection:
Equipped with LED lighting and an LED UV light source. Operators can switch between them to inspect conformal-coating coverage efficiently.
• Cleaning Function:
The machine offers an automatic cleaning mode. After stopping the machine, switching to cleaning mode allows cleaning liquid from the pressure tank to flush through the spray valve automatically—No need for manual disassembly.
